Moveset and General Overview
Spoiler:
Silverfang is a low mobility, low ranged fighter with the ability to do big bursts of damage when he gets in. Predict your opponent's actions, avoid their strikes, and go in for the ko!
~Notible normal attacks~ Down tilt: This is a low kb combo tool. It lacks range, but can confirm into most grounded attacks. Up tilt: Silverfang's dp of sorts. Its invincible until the first hitbox comes out, and when successful, will have its endlag reduced to almost nothing, allowing for combos out of it. D-air: This is a multihit that can confirm into grounded hits. It also meteors a small bit to make it properly link into itself, which does mean it can be used to drag down midair opponents.
~Smash Attacks~ F-Smash: A simple dashing punch. As it has the most horizontal range of his 3 smash attacks, it has weak ko potential. D-Smash: Silverfang's killing smash, he does a rather meaty leg slam. It lacks range however. Has a whifflag system, so hitting it gives you proper time to push your advantage. U-Smash: Silverfang jumps into the air to deliver a flip kick. This is a anti-air of sorts and as such, has invincibility until the hitbox is active. That being said, it can hit tall enough grounded opponents. If it hits, the opponent is either forced into a techchase situation, or are stuck off-stage. It has a whifflag system, so hitting it gives you proper time to push your advantage.
~Throws~ F-throw: A reference to a sequence performed on Garou, this is Silverfang's kill throw. B-throw: A simple throw to Silverfang's back. Mainly useful for forcing people onto the other side. D-throw: Silverfang rushes the opponent with a flurry of strikes before kicking them away. As its a damage throw, the opponent is sent just far away enough to not be in immediate danger while still being within range of being pressured. U-throw: A juggle throw of sorts. Not much else to say about it
~Specials~ Neutral Special {Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist series}: A rekka beginning with a simple strike. This move cannot be used on "dizzied" opponents. On hit can be canceled into 2 other moves. >Instantaneous Effect (A):Walks forward while rapidly striking for a damaged focused ender. >Fang Interpolation (B): A simple strike that when hit stuns the opponent. This is Silverfang's shorter regular option of stunning the opponent. Side Special {Martial Mix}: Silverfang enters a dashing state. He can wait for it to finish or do one of 3 actions >Cancel (shield/grab):pretty self-explanatory, ends the move >Lunging kick (A):The kick he performed on Garou right before Genos finished his assault. While not all that special, its the easiest attack to land out of side special. >Stomp Strike (B):Goes into a stomping strike that does loads of shield damage. Its also a decent way to mix your air movement and can be used to grab the ledge after the rest of your recovery options are exausted. Up Special {Ground/Rock Boost}:Silverfang jumps off of a rock or if grounded, the ground. The grounded one dosn't take your midair up special away and can be used to chase high recoveries, while the midair one sends a rock projectile that meteors straight below you. Does not put you into the helpless state. Down Special {Water Stream Encampment}: A simple counter based on the move of the same name in A Hero Nobody Knows. When successful, dizzies the opponent for a longer duration then Fang Interpolation.
~Final Smash~ {Redacted}
This is my first mod and a repost from Gamebanana. For the time being the how-to txt will be held there. Special thanks goes to Hacker93 for making the sprites, and CloudStrifeGaming for ripping his voice clips alongside the crusade/cmc teams for revealing what they know about modding
